Sorted - The Album of the Year for 2005

I've been a supporter of the Los Angeles based group The Sugarplastic since their major label release in 1996, "Bang The Earth Is Round".  After extracting themselves from their record contract, the band released their third full length CD, "Resin", in 2000. Since then the band has released a series of 7" singles called 7X7X7 on Tallboy Records.

Recording has finished for "Will" , the fourth Sugarplastic record, and based on what I've heard, the new record will be stunning. The Sugarplastic excel in quirky songwriting. The record is dedicated to the memory of William Cooper Glenn who was a founding member of The Rain Parade, and was a key member of Mazzy Star and Opal.
